UNICOM Systems, Inc., and its affiliates and subsidiaries, (hereinafter collectively "us", "we", or "our") operates the UNICOM Focal Point™ Mobile app mobile application (the "Service").

This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information when you use our Service.

We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

We use your Personal Information for providing and improving the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection and Use
While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.

Log Data
When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics ("Log Data").

Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer's hard drive.

The Service does not use "cookies" to collect information.

Service Providers
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (hereinafter "Child" or "Children").

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a Child without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.

EU-US Privacy Shield

UNICOM Systems, Inc. complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States.  UNICOM Systems, Inc. has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Privacy Shield Principles.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this Privacy Policy and the Privacy Shield Principles, the Privacy Shield Principles shall govern.  To learn more about the Privacy Shield program, and to view our certification, please visit https://www.privacyshield.gov/.

In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, UNICOM Systems, Inc. commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your personal information.  EU individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our Privacy Shield policy should first contact us at focalpoint.support@unicomsi.com


UNICOM Systems, Inc. has further committed to cooperate with the panel established by the EU Data Protection Authorities (“DPA’s”) with regard to unresolved Privacy Shield complaints concerning data transferred from the EU.

As part of our participation in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, we are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Additionally individuals have the possibility, under certain conditions, for the individual to invoke binding arbitration.

In the context of an onward transfer, we have responsibility for the processing of Personal Information we receive under the Privacy Shield and subsequently transfer to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf.  The Privacy Shield organization shall remain liable under the Principles., If we, as the Privacy Shield organization’s agent, process such Personal Information in a manner inconsistent with the Principles, we may not be responsible if we can prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. 

Correction/Updating Personal Information
Please note that Personal Information will be transferred securely to the server portion of our Service.  If a user's Personal Information changes, or if a user no longer desires our Service, the organization responsible for providing that server will be responsible for providing a way to correct, update or remove that user's Personal Information provided. Choice/Opt-out

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
