As a valued System Architect® customer, we want to let you know that a new version of System Architect (SA) has been commercially released. We continue to drive improvements to the product within themed areas to enable you to build and maintain a strategic, value-driven enterprise architecture.
System Architect 11.4.9.1 provides the following enhancements:

Users can create instances of definitions from node-type symbols by right-mouse clicking on a symbol on a diagram. This capability is available across any framework but is mostly used in DoDAF 2 and UAF.

OV-6a in DoDAF 2 now has more attractive drawing icons. |

Usability Features in the SA rich client: |

Symbol Depiction can now be set through a property in the Symbol Tab |

This overrides the default symbol graphic set by the Depictions clause (used to set symbol graphic based on stereotype). |

Rename is available in the Explorer Tree for Diagrams & Definitions. |

Center-to-Center Routing can now be set as the default for all new diagrams via an option in the Tools - Preferences dialog. |

• |
Port Symbols can now be automatically aligned on the edge of the symbol that they are positioned on via the diagram’s Alignment tools. |

• |
The Find Symbol dialog can handle multiple selections and can zoom the view to cover the selection. |
|
|
• |
Better routing of lines when moving Lanes/Pools on BPMN diagrams. |
|
|
• |
Explicit relationship Definition-type nodes on Explorer diagram can be merged in the same fashion as Group nodes. |

SA XT Web Drawing Enhancements: |

SA XT now supports stereotype-driven graphic icons. |

There is support for 100 more user diagram types and 700 more user symbol types. |
